Trainers / Facilitators: Freelance Trainers/ Facilitators / Ex-teachers to conduct  workshops for Primary and Secondary School students using different pedagogy models like design-thinking, experiential and activity-based learning.

Requirements:

  • Qualified trainer or teachers with at least 1-2 years of experience. Trainee teachers welcome to apply 
  • Interest in various pedagogic models and design process an added advantage 
  • Effective communication and class management skills 
  • Friendly and pleasing personality with a passion to work with children and youth 
  • Broad knowledge and interest in social & environmental issues preferred 
  • Relevant training will be provided. Training material and curriculum will also be given.

Trainers are on contract and will be compensated as per the workshop conducted. Fees will be based on commitment levels and relevant experience. Please note that not a full-time role.  Please share your current commitments, if any, with other similar school programmes / training organisations

Trainer Manager and Office Administration: Super-duper organised person to manage and develop our pool of trainer and provide support for Program Managers for school programmes by coordinating with various stakeholders including VWOs, partners, funders etc. The person will be also responsible for general office administration and operations.

Requirement:

  • Exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills.Must be able to work in fast paced and adapt to changes.
  • Someone with experience in general administration, HR / Volunteer management and related fields.
  • Experience in preparing documents, proposals and /or accounts management and training will be an added advantage. 
  • Salary range 1,200 to 1,700 based on experience and time commitment 

Interns  (Minimum 2 months commitment) We need interns on an on going basis and they are involved in supporting with various functions of a social enterprise including research, planning, & implementation of current school and special programmes, marketing activities and general administration.

Requirement:

  • Student preferably completing a marketing/business or social entrepreneurship course;
  • Good business writing and problem solving skills ;
  • Some experience in coordinating any small events/ activities in college or high school that involved planning & execution (not necessary but preferred) 
  • Responsible and Self-motivated to complete tasks without monitored constantly. 
  • Internship Fees range $250 to $400 based on experience and time commitment 

Co-Facilitators / Student Mentors: You could be a full-time student, ex-teacher, home-maker with some work experience to assist as co-facilitator at school workshops.  You may have an interest in education, want to gain some experience in teaching or training OR as a student want to earn some pocket money.

Requirement:

  • Minimum GCE ‘A’ Levels. Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply 
  • Effective communication skills 
  • Friendly and pleasing personality with a passion to work with children and youth 
  • Broad knowledge and interest in social & environmental issues preferred 
  • If you have additional experience in in teaching/training, please apply with relevant information 
  • Relevant training, all materials and curriculum will also be provided 

Volunteers: Our social mission is audacious and we always need help with various functions in the organisation.  If you can commit a few hours a week on an on-going basis, please write to us.  

Full-Time assignment from 9am to 5pm or Part-time option available with minimum commitment of 30 hours a week.
